Grifting: Etant donnes

I'd wanted to see Etant donnes for years before it actually happened. Twenty-five years after he gave-up making work, why did he decide to make this one last piece? Or maybe he really was working on this piece while playing chess all those years?

Peep through the door:

Really? Mr. Duchamp? You've left us with this dark, kind of dirty, voyeuristic tableau. The figure is abstracted, the room is small. The viewer becomes part of it, we understand.

It's true; It's good.

Also, it was very hard to grift, jsyk. The Philadelphia Museum of Art is more kind to Rocky Balboa impersonators on the front steps than to reverse-documenters on the inside.

The Rocky Balboa impersonators are valuable art objects, too, Flint.

Andrew, thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Graduating to videos... I approve.
